What is Karuna Reiki?

You will be registered with this school upon completion of the course.

Karuna Reiki® is the next step for an Usui Reiki Master. These attunements give you access to the transpersonal chakras contained above the crown chakra and below the feet.

​

This class is for anyone who has had Reiki Master training. It is complete with two levels, two attunements, four master symbols and eight treatment symbols. We have experimented with and taught this system since 1994 and have found it to be effective and powerful. In fact, most students find it more powerful than Usui Reiki! The energy has a more definite feeling to it. It works on the emotional and spiritual levels and also can help one become more grounded. Those who receive the attunements report experiences with their guides, angels, and higher self and feel the healing presence of other enlightened beings.

The Meaning of Karuna

Karuna is translated to mean any action that is taken to diminish the suffering of others and could also be translated as "compassionate action." When individuals experience enlightenment, they report that all beings are known as one. Therefore, it is natural to extend compassionate action or Karuna to everyone without distinction because we are all one. As we help others and aid them in their healing process, all beings benefit. Because of the oneness of all beings, it is understood that Karuna is not only extended to others out of love, but also because it is an entirely logical thing to do. In the same way that you would want to heal your own wounds, you would also want the wounds of others to heal. Karuna or compassion is always coupled with wisdom.

Karuna is the motivating quality of all enlightened beings who are working to end suffering within themselves and those they share this planet with. As you develop Karuna in yourself, not only are you helping others, thus your healing is quickened as well.

Karuna® I Module

You will learn about

• Karuna Reiki and its origin and connection with spiritual beings

• Meditation and healing practice

• Understanding your shadow self

• You will connect with Kuan Yin the Goddess of compassion one of the four great Bodhisattvas or enlightened beings that watch over the earth.

• You will learn the level 1 four Karuna Reiki symbols and their uses.

• How to give Karuna treatments

• Practice using the Karuna Reiki symbols

• Learn about sound vibration and how to chant and tone with Karuna Reiki Symbols

• Attunements of level 1 symbols.

Advanced Karuna® 2 

This initiation works at a very deep level enabling you to work towards deeper and personal planetary healing and enlightened beings. Karuna Reiki level 2 opens you, so that you are able to work more closely with enlightened beings. This included enlightened ones who are physically present as well as those in spirit.

You will learn:

• The other four symbols of Level 2

• Karuna treatments with these symbols

• How to activate them

• Combine the symbols to create wholeness

• Using sound vibration and how to chant and tone with Karuna Reiki symbols

• Attunements of these symbols

• What are the different type of healings that these eight symbols proportionate.

The Karuna symbols are of a higher vibration and more powerful. They help connect directly with the Higher Self and work on a deeper level. While they have specific purposes discussed in class, the experience of their energy allows intuitive guidance in their use.

Level 2 of Karuna Reik® attunement will be given as well as instruction and practice on the use of all the symbols. Lots of practice time is included for giving treatments.

​

Taught a powerful Reiki meditation to be aware of and heal the Shadow Self. Explore the use of  "light language" with the chanting and toning with Karuna Reiki®.

Reiki Master Karuna® 3 

​

This level is considered the Grand Master level of Reiki studies. You have explored the 7 Chakras within during the Usui Reiki system. The Karuna system has taken you on a journey through the Transpersonal Chakra System and the ability to tap into a deeper level of spiritual communication. 

​

You will learn:

• The final Master symbol

• Attunement to this symbol

• The completion of the journey of the Shadow (at this time)

• The embracing of the light of Karuna. A shining advocate of Compassion

• Attunement method and techniques

• Learn the attunement processes.

• ​

You will also be offered the opportunity to become a "Registered Karuna Reiki® Master" with The International Center for Reiki Training. You will then be able to use our manuals and your student certificates will come from the Center.
