The Power of Compassion
Beloved friends, welcome to April and I send you love and compassion. Some of you may know that in this past month I lost my sister unexpectedly and on the other side of the loss I am contemplating COMPASSION. The outpouring of love and compassion during this time has been deeply felt in my heart. I know I am blessed to have so many powerful lightworkers and Angels to call friends in my life. I have been FEELING the POWER of Compassion.
In my studies, experience and Wisdom compassion is more than just a kind thought or relating to what I am going through. It IS the actions that spring from the desire to diminish the struggles of others. Compassion is the energy of upliftment! When Compassion is experienced, pain and suffering is alleviated. When you practice Compassion, you DO what you can and focus on lifting the other out of the pain.
Compassionate action examples could include:
*The caring phone call
*The drop off flowers to brighten the day of the other
*Cooking of meal for a family
*Offering a prayer or note of inspiration
*Making time to spend with someone
*A hug
*A smile
*Offering positive energy in any way!
This month I am sharing a system of Reiki dedicated to the energy of compassion. This system is the attunement to the compassionate seed of the soul. Karuna Reiki attunes you and connects you to the FORCE of compassion in the universe and the beings such as Angels who vibrate it naturally and fully!
Karuna Reiki means “an action that is taken to diminish the suffering of others,” it can also be defined as the Reiki of Compassion. Karuna Reiki is healing energy which assists us in awakening universal compassion and the wisdom in one’s soul. When combined with energy, our state of consciousness in compassion has a great transformational power. Karuna Reiki is derived from a collection of “additional symbols” where some came along with attunement processes. Although many of the symbols used in Karuna Reiki are similar as those used in other systems and schools, the intention and attunement of Karuna Reiki is different, and the energies connected to it are unique to the system.
Karuna Reiki techniques assist in healing or facilitating: addictive behavior, allergies, anxiety, chakra balancing, chemotherapy, developing healthy habits, karmic issues, mental focus and grounding, physical injuries-emergencies, resistance to healing, and spiritual growth. What Karuna Reiki does for us in part is help our energy system become more fully activated.
Karuna Reiki is a trademarked system from the Reiki Master Teacher derived from William Rand and is the next step for Usui Reiki Masters. I have found this system to a be a powerful role in the development of the Reiki Masters energy to assist and be an example of the power of compassion in the world.
