The spiritual path is a powerful—and often very challenging—path to take in the modern world. When you embark on the spiritual path, you question the normalcy of things. You reach outside of your comfort zones. You decide for yourself what is real, right, and true.
This includes what you believe about yourself, inside and out, as well as the external world—which is really just a reflection of your beliefs and your values. No one and no thing is in your world that you haven’t somehow called in or encountered on your exploration of life.
These are big concepts to grasp when you first start out, especially when it feels like others or outside forces are to blame, or are making you make choices you don’t like or agree with. When this happens, it can be a good indicator of your growth.

So, what can you trust? Where do you turn when the spiritual life becomes your life?
Once the spirit of you begins to TALK from the inside out, it is hard to quiet this voice. It is ever-present and now KNOWS you are listening.
The spirit of you is the energy of who you are, and this energy is the presence inside of the present moment. The spirit of you is the purpose you have innately inside of you—the voice within that KNOWS you have something important to honor and share.
For me, this voice is called Faith.
The voice of the Divine and the divine aspect of myself—my spirit. Faith is a living, breathing energy. It guides me and has become my GPS.

The Virtue of Faith grants you the ability to trust even in the most difficult of times. Times of great doubt and despair. Faith beckons from deep within your heart. Faith is the inner voice of the divine which speaks and guides you to a place of Trust, surrender and peace. The Virtue of Faith has supernatural powers. Faith is not limited by where you are or who you believe yourself to be. The Virtue of Faith moves you dynamically and fluidly towards what is meant to be and what is truly possible to you. With Faith nothing is impossible. Faith has the power to override all excuses, doubts and fears.”— Virtues of Divinity
The spiritual path cannot survive without Faith, and I don’t believe we can live fully and happily without it. I believe this to my core and trust it with all my heart.
I share this today because of a little nudge from the Divine—a nudge to put a little more Faith into the world.
This is my sharing.
I will also share that Faith is guiding my own life in some extraordinary ways.
I have been on a sabbatical since May, when I took time away to visit Magnolia Grove Monastery for a personal 21-day retreat. That time away brought a new light into me and a desire to explore my Buddhist roots and the peace of awakening at an expanded level.
I am realizing that divine timing is here—a time for me to explore new depths within myself and my purpose.I have decided to attend the residential program at the Monastery to learn more and to have time for deep reflection and personal growth. With this, I will be on an extended sabbatical from October until the end of January.
